the coyolf watched the three get the portal set up, before he his ears perk upward hearing a whale like howl, turning aorund he saw a 8' tall reaper, only this one was white, it let out a deafening roar "Shit...con-" before Ty could finshed he was sent flying in the air by a energy surge fom the thing, he got up and growled "Now I'm pissed..." he growled lowly "YOu guys work on that portal quickly, i'll take care of this Conduit..."

"We'll give you a little help," J's clone said as he rushed toward the Conduit.

"N.E.X.U.S., we need to get this thing up n' runnin' fast before more of 'em come," J said to the computer.

"Give me five minutes to find the plans," the text said.

Ayame looked at the action that was occuring behind them.

"N.E.X.U.S., with the way things are going, we won't be around in five minutes."

Since his ability to multitask ceased to function, N.E.X.U.S. couldn't reply to what Ayame said.

The conduit shrieked and instantly infont of the canosapien, drop kicking him high into the celing as the coylf charged it, red arcane ruens appearing on his body now as he began to match speed with the conduit, the two matching each other blow for blow

The clones used their force wave abilities on the Conduit, inflicting minor damage to the creature.

J and Ayame were still waiting for the blueprints from N.E.X.U.S.

the coyolf panted a lil as he kept attacking the conduit "Think N.E.X.U.S. could speed it up a lil?" the coylf asked, he was pushing himself to his limits, it was bad for him since it could spark his demon to rear it's ugly head, meanwhile the conduit continued to relentlessly attack the the coyolf and clones

the coyolf growled as he contued to fight the conduit, the runes on his body glowing red now as he fought, the condut was chcukling as it shit several energy balls at the clones, just missing a comptuer terminal

The clones deflected the fireballs and made sure that the fireballs were away from the terminals. Black Lightning decided to jump into action and help the group of fighters. His right hand transformed into a gun and started to fire at the Conduit, while avoiding the computer terminals.

As J and Ayame waited for the countdown to reach zero, they created a barrier to make sure that the vital parts, the portal gate and the computers used for the portal were left undamaged. The countdown clock finally reached zero, and the blueprints that N.E.X.U.S. came up with appeared on the screen. J looked over the blueprints.

Black Lightning transformed his left hand into a chainsaw and thrusted it into the body of the Conduit; however, the Conduit grabbed the chainsaw weilding arm and pulled it out of its body. It then ripped the arm off of Black Lightning's body, leaving the robot with only one arm. The Conduit then used the arm and slung it with all its strength in the direction of the clones. The projectile struck the clones with enough force, destroying them.

the coylf growled as he jumped up onto a beam, and aimed himself at the conduit, he jumped down making a direct hit sending the enemy sevreal miles below the group as he panted and fell to one knee "Damn..."

Black Lightning picked up his left arm from the floor, where the Conduit dropped it after being struck by Ty. He walked over to where the two shiba inus were working on the portal.

"How long will it take for it to be operational?" Black Lightning asked as he placed his severed arm on the table next to the monitor of the desktop.

"If we all work together, then it should take a day to get this thing completed," J replied without looking away from his work.

J pulled out his laptop from his carrying and placed it on the table. He pulled up the music folder on it and selected some background music from a theme park pavillion that was nearly completed before the whole incident occured. The music produced a serene atmosphere throughout the room.

"Is that the background music for Oceanaria?" Ayame asked as she placed a tool on the ground.

"Yeah, it is," J replied with a nod.

J walked over to where the computer systems for the portal were and pulled out a USB cable. He plugged one end into one of the computers and the other one into the back of his head. His hands had a bluish glow around them as he lifted them up in mid-air. Suddenly, a virtual keyboard appeared in front of him. He then moved his hands above the virtual keyboard and moved the hands away from each other, creating a virtual screen.

The biocyborg began to type something on the virtual keyboard before he was suddenly knocked to the ground. The virtual keyboard and screen disappeared. Grabbing the back of his head, J looked up and noticed that the computer system grid is now smoking.

"Great, just great," J said.

Ayame rushed over to him and asked, "Are you okay."

J nodded his head and answered, "I'm fine, but man that was some kick I got from the grid. I'll be feelin' that later. Unfortunately, these computers are now bricked. Without any computers, we can't get this portal to work."

"What about the DDSCS?" Ayame asked.

J thought for a moment and a smile appeared on his face. "Those could work. It's more powerful than this setup, n' it should be more than capable to handle the program for this portal."

Ayame helped J onto his feet. J placed a hand against a wall to steady himself and shook his head to get his bearings straight.

"Thanks," J said to his girlfriend.

"You're welcome," Ayame replied. "Are there any DDSCS cabinets here?"

J shook his head and answered, "No, but if there are any parts that are still in good shape around the Mission Control, I could build one. I got the plans for 'em n' the Unown Engine."
